Route Delivery Representative – Class A OR B Driver
Starting wage: $16-19 to start depending on experience, increase after successful completion of introductory period.
Hours Per Week
The Route Delivery Representative operates a truck to deliver milk and milk by-products to customers; is responsible for various paperwork, conducts daily vehicle safety inspections, preventative and general light maintenance; keeps all DOT and company regulated logs, and provides courteous customer service. A good DMV record, the ability to speak, read and write well in English, a positive attitude, good people skills, and motivation for job efficiency is required.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of
this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to vibration. The employee is
occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts;
fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions. The noise level
in the work environment is usually moderate.
