Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
1-2 years of experience working in a television production environment; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and knowledge of computer systems such as Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Access or a similar database is required.
Familiarity with editing in Final Cut or Adobe is a plus.
Ability to work flexible hours to include, during events, productions, nights and weekends.
Must be a diligent, detail-oriented worker who is efficient, a creative problem-solver, and not afraid to ask questions.
Must maintain a professional demeanor while working with talent and crews during productions.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Provides support to the Director of Studio Relations and Special Productions and performs administrative and productions tasks for the entire department as needed.
Responsible for a variety of daily office activities to include: schedules meetings, books rooms, prepares materials for shipment, orders supplies, types up notes and distributes accordingly, distributes and collects timecards for crews, orders supplies, and other duties as needed.
Assist with studio set up for client productions and serves as an onsite contact during studio or field productions when the Director is not onsite.
Prepares and assists with contract documents for all studio and field shoots.
Coordinates the distribution and management of releases for client talent and locations.
Works to coordinate crew fulfillment, such as editors and required staff for productions.
Coordinates and ensures the appropriate bookings of studios/facilities and assists in creating shot lists, itineraries, and call sheets for productions.
Works with production, post-production, and development team to procure, organize and maintain all assets related to production of the shows or projects the team is working on.
Serves as a point of contact to ensure client delivery of final program/product in the requested format and any DVD duplication.
May help operate various studio equipment to include camera & teleprompter operation, graphics insertion and other production functions
Responsible for logging, maintaining the media library, transcribing interviews using appropriate software, including requesting duplicates and mailing tapes when necessary.
THIS IS A PART-TIME POSITION.
Hourly Salary Range: $15.00 to $20.00 per hour. No Benefits.
