POSITION: Bookkeeper Business Development Skills used and Developed: The primary responsibility of this position is to assist in some of the day to day book keeping. Processes in place reduce time needed for book keeping to approximately two to three hours each day and open the opportunity to do much more within our business. For the person that went into accounting but wants more involvement in what makes a company thrive you will spend the rest of your time learning how we can support our international network of producing partners to bring more value to their customers and markets. In doing so the new addition will use a variety of skills that they may possess and will also be taught and improved upon by the existing team at Allan Block. “Typical” duties exist as outlined below, but the majority of the duties will rely on communication skills, project management, and training.

Experience in book keeping/accounting is required and we provide training to assist in developing the specific skills required to bring value to the company and our customers. Travel is not required. Some of the many skills that we will help you develop or enhance upon what you already have are: 



These projects include website and estimating software development, sales support and business development programs, expanding our social media opportunities, launching our 3D modeling tool, and new product research and improvement.  Being able to work in a team environment.

Use of other software (expert knowledge not required): Microsoft Office Suite with special emphasis on Excel.

REQUIREMENTS: Must have good communication skills for extensive interface with our partners and their customers. The ideal candidate feels the need to meet and exceed goals and has a do whatever it takes attitude. We are looking for someone with an outgoing personality, the desire for professional growth opportunities, and one who can combine book keeping skills with an energetic disposition to ensure that the details for sound financial management of a company are in order while participating in growing the company with active engagement with our partners and their customers. Completion of bachelor’s degree in Business is required and previous job experience in book keeping or accounting is desired.
